a member of a class of american militia men that volunteered to be ready on a minutes notice

principal rider for the boston’s committee of safety and made a system to warn the minutemen about the british invasion.

rode on the same night as paul revere to warn about the British. he managed to avoid getting captured, unlike paul revere.

during the night of december 16, 1773 sam adams and the sons of liberty threw 342 chests of tea into the boston harbor, dressed as indians.

happened on april 19, 1775. lexington- shot heard round the world, british victory. concord- where the 700 british tried to destroy weapon stash, colonial victory.
what did the first real battle prove to the americans?
they will fight in the eastern way, and they should be prepared for battle when necessary. AMERICA HAD A CHANCE TO BEAT THE BRITISH.
