• Evidence of strategic planning across the relevant parts of the authority
• Demonstration of a commitment to work between local authority tiers, potentially including joint procurement

Conditions of control over chargepoint location

LAs must either:

• Retain responsibility for deciding chargepoint locations, to ensure they serve LEVI’s target users

OR

• Share responsibility with the CPO

Question 3

DNO Engagement conditions

Answer 3

The lead LA must give evidence of DNO engagement, including:

• Email correspondence or a letter of support from the DNO relating to the CP strategy and project planning
• Connection cost estimations, e.g. through an estimation tool (full quote not required)

Question 4

Chargepoint power conditions

Answer 4

• The majority of costs must relate to the installation of standard-power infrastructure (<22kW)
  ^suitable for local charging
• Other chargepoint powers are acceptable in the minority
