Cell
Is a group of cells that are similar in structure and functions that work together to perform a specific function.
Tissue
It is composed of various tissues that work together in an organized manner to carry out specific functions.
Organ
Consists of different groups of organs that work together to perform a broad spectrum of function that is basic to life.
Organ system
Is a collection of different organ systems that collaborate to bring about various life activities
Organism
Pertains to a group of organisms belonging to the same species occupying the same area or region.
Population
Consists of all the population of different species of organisms living together in a given area
Community
Consists of all communities of organisms that inhabit the same area, the nonliving components of the area, and the set of interactions that exist between these two components
Ecosystem
Pertains to a collection of ecosystems with similar climates and covering a large geographical area.
Biome
The highest of all the levels of organization. It consists of the totality or collection of all ecosystems of the planet earth.
