A
AKA acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis (AFND)
Cutaneous manifestation of AML - bx shows myeloblasts in dermis - histolytic variant of AFND
Can be confused with pyoderma gangrenosum
Tx: management of AML

Stage 0: lymphocytosis only (ALC>10,000) - survival 150 mo
Stage I: plus LDA - survival 101 mo
Stage II: plus hepatosplenomegaly - survival 71 mo
Stage III: plus anemia (Hb less than 11g) - survival 22 mo
Stage IV: plus thrombocytopenia (less than 100,000) - survival 11 mo
