Why is Jesus referred to as “the second Joshua?”
- Greek translation of Jesus is Joshua.

- Even though we fall time and again, God will hear our cry and deliver us if we ask.

What we should do when facing sin in the church
Focus on God rather than people.

- In spite of evil, God doesn’t abandon the church.
- God doesn’t allow evil to continue.
- A leader can change the course of a nation.
Why did the Israelites want a king?
They wanted to be like everyone else.
