What does a 2C bid from responder mean?
A
He is asking if Opener has a 4 card major.
By definition Responder has a 4 card major otherwise he would not have bid Stayman.

What does opener’s reply of 2H mean?
A
That he has 4 Hearts.
HE MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT HAVE 4 SPADES!!!

A
That he has 4 spades
BUT HE DOES NOT HAVE 4 HEARTS.

Why does responder need 11+ points for Stayman?
A
So responder can reply with a legitimate bid if opener has no major. (ie opener replies 2D)
Opener might have maximum points -14 - so 11 + 14 = 25 GAME!!!
