It refers to the rise in average surface temperatures on earth mostly due to
the burning of fossil fuels.

- A major cause of climate change is the burning of fossil fuel, such as oil and
coal, which releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, causing
detrimental effects on the environment. - Among the major effects of climate change is the steady rise in the earth’s
average temperature brought about by the melting of the ice caps.

CAUSE AND EFFECT OF CLIMATE CHANGE
- Sustainable energy resources – such as solar power and wind power – are
considered important solutions to climate change, and various campaigns
have advocated increased use of these energy resources in place of fossil
fuel. - An important aspect in responding to the challenge of climate change is
information and awareness.

ADDRESSING THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE
- According to Max Weber, conflict arises when one person or party
intentionally carries out an action or deed against another party. - Conflicts caused by grievance is influenced largely by identity issues, such
as the desire to gain recognition for one’s religion or ethnicity.

it refers to the movement of people within their own country, and involves transferring from one city or locality to another
