Choose View > Duration Bars > All and drag the right edge of the duration bars.

In the MIDI Draw inspector, ensure that Velocity is chosen, and draw a line in the MIDI Draw area.
How do you create control data?
Choose a controller in the MIDI Draw inspector, and click the Pencil tool to create control points.
How do you curve lines in MIDI Draw?
Hold down Control-Shift and drag a line between two control points of different values.
How do you copy a section of automation in MIDI Draw?
Drag a rectangle around control point to select them an Option-drag the selection.
