Academic writing contains an objective, states its importance, and provides supportive detail that upholds the objectives of the writing.
What is the Thesis Statement and what is its purpose?
The thesis statement is the main idea of the paper and states the objective that the paper is supposed to achieve.

Plagiarism is claiming credit for work that is not your original work.

What are the three phases of the writing process?
Prewriting, Writing, & Revising
What do you do during the Prewriting phase of writing?
This is your planning and information-gathering stage. During this stage you must decide on a topic, conduct your research, and create an outline.
What do you do during the Writing stage of writing?
During this phase you give form to the information you gathered when conducting your research. A well-written outline serves as a guide and helps your ideas flow. During this stage, remember not to worry about perfection. Write freely and get all of your ideas on paper.
What do you do during the Revising phase of writing?
This is the stage when you take a very close look at what you have written and start cleaning it up, editing for content, correcting your use of words, your grammar and spelling. This is the refining stage and is most crucial because this will produce your final written product. Remember to cut unnecessary words and proofread over and over again.
What is “Netiquette”?
Coined from the word “Etiquette”, “Netiquette” is rules or manners for interacting courteously with others online.
