Describe what seed dispersal means.
It means spreading and scattering, and is the process of getting the seeds from the parent plant to a new location.
Explain the different methods of seed dispersal.
Human dispersal-when farmers plant seeds in the ground; Water dispersal-when water currents take seeds to new places;Animal dispersal-when animals get seeds on their fur or consume them to be carried and dropped in new locations. Wind dispersal-when breezes carry seeds to new places. Mechanical dispersal-when plants fling seeds out into the open to be taken away.
