Larger, less intimate, and more specialized.

Secondary Group
Argues that shift from traditional to modern society will impact how individuals relate to one another.

Reference Group
Refers to the structure of relationships between social actors or groups. These are intercommunication, ties and linkages between people.
Network
Networks are exclusive,limited and mostly defined by kinship. Provides solidarity through shared identities, simple division of labor and social roles.
