During the Liturgy of the Word, we hear the word of God from four different readings; One from the Old Testament, The Psalm, One reading from the New Testament, and the Gospel.

During the Liturgy of the Eucharist, the priest consecrates the bread and the wine, and through the transubstantiation they become the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we receive it. We eat this celestial food to be transform into our Lord. To become like him.
