Patterns of repetitive behavior which becomes habitual and conventional part of living.
Folkways
The set of ethical staandards and moral obligations as idctates of reason that distinguishes human acts as right or wrong or good from bad
Mores
Two kinds of mores
a. Positive mores / Duty
b. Negative mores / Taboo
Refers to the behavior, which must and ought to be edone because they are ethically and morally good
Positive mores / Duty
Refers to societal prohibitions on certain acts which must not be done because htey are illegal, but enethical and or executed
Negative mores / Taboo
Formalized norms enacted by people vested with legitimate authority.
Laws
Non material aspects of culture and embody man’s conception of his physical, social and cultural world
Ideas
Refers to the concrete and tangible objects produced and used by man to satisfy his varied needs and wants
Material Culture
Refers to an object, gesture, sound, color or design that represents something “other than itself”
