this form of intrapersonal communication is done through the help of the mind and one’s inner thoughts
internal discourse
is a form of intrapersonal communication, which when they talk out loud to themselves
solo vocal discourse
involves writing for oneself and is not intended to others
solo written discourse
this involves reflection, analysis, and concentration, daydreaming, analyzing, praying and meditating
internal discourse
some people use this form of intrapersonal communication as a way to clear their minds, while others use it as a way to practice for an event
solo vocal discourse
the practice of keeping a diary, in which one records one’s daily activities is an example of this form of intrapersonal communication
