Q

Why can’t we follow Quran only?

A

Because Quran says that we must follow Muhammad (saw) and so we must accept Hadith. Quran and Hadith were narrated by the same Sahaba. If we reject Hadith we reject Quran.

Q

What is the difference between Kalimat and Kaifiyyat?

A

Talimat is verbal transmission. The prophet pbuh transmitted orally talim e Kitab and talim e hikmat to Sahaba and they did to the next generations.

Kaifiyyat is spiritual feelings of the prophet pbuh like fear of Allah swt, worry about ummah, love for Allah swt etc.

Q

How were feelings transmitted?

A

Through companionship. Muhammad saw spent whole night in Du’a before battle of badr, then Abu bakr ra came and said „Ya rasulullah enough, surely Allah swt will grant us victory“

Sometimes pbuh just said nothing when Sahaba did something and it was his approval.

There was no text for 250 years AH everything was transmitted verbally after pbuh got it from Allah swt and then Sahaba narrated it. After 250 yrs it was textualized by the generation among imam Bukhari.
