Primary colours
Colours from wich other colours are made. Yellow red and blue
Secondary colours
Colours that are made from the primary colours
Orange purple and green
Harminous colours
The range of colours made by mixing two primary colours
Tertiary colours
The colours made when mixing a primary and secondary
Complimentary colours
Colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel that work well together
Warm colours
A range of warm colours / tones that are on the colour wheel
Cold colours
A range of cold colours / tones on the colour wheel
Monochrome
Shades of a colour. Colours mixed with black or white to create shades or tints of many tones of one colour.
Collage
Paper, objects, pictures, photographs, cut up and reassemble to create a picture
Abstact
Is an art style that breaks away from drawing arts as it is represented in real life it is about exploring form and colour
Media

Stippiling
A painting technique using a dry flat brush and dabbing the paint to create texture
Pattern
A shape design that is repeated to create pattern
