Explain how a single cell develops into a baby
When an egg cell gets fertilized the cell forms an embryo that starts dividing into more and more cells that form the baby over time
Describe the stages of birth
Stage one- the cervix begins to dilate, and contractions occur
Stage two- the cervix continues to dilate, contractions become strong, the baby gets pushed through the birth canal and out of the mothers body
Stage three- contractions continue until the placenta is pushed out as well
