A

Differentiate between primary radiation, remnant radiation and scattered radiation

A
Primary radiation (PR) is all the radiation between the source and the patient. (incident radiation or useful beam)  
Remnant radiation (RR): unabsorbed primary radiation - radiation that hits the IR
Scattered radiation (SR): primary radiation which has been deflected or changed direction.
