language, and dress, among other things.

Nonmaterial culture includes the norms, laws, customs, ideas,
and beliefs of a group of people. Non-material culture is less
tangible than material culture, but it has a strong presence in

Nonmaterial culture
is a term that means talking to or understanding other
people to establish a relationship with them. It is also important
because you socialize to make friends in that specific place to
make you more welcome and they can also teach about their
culture in that country.

refers to a set of symbols that expresses ideas and
concepts which enables people to formulate thoughts and
communicate with one another.

is an idea shared by the people in a society about what is
good and bad, right, and wrong, desirable, and undesirable.

norms as expectations of how people are
supposed to act, think, or feel in specific situations. Most norms
relate to social positions and roles.
