what is physical evidence
A
- any tangible object, substance or information that supports a scientific observation
- ranges from trace evidence (fingerprints, hair, soil, vegetation) to clothing, tools and patterns of blood

A
- evidence presented by a credible witness
- first hand testimony that is relevant to the case because the person is a lay witness to a crime or an expert witness
