Tech: combine one walking step and a hop with the opposite foot.
SKIPPING
forward slide stepping. Step forward and bring the back foot to the front foot.

GALLOPING
categorized as either even and uneven movements.

equal, unvarying actions.
EVEN RHYTHM
unequal actions. Also, incorporate alternating actions.
UNEVEN RHYTΗΜ
body moves in place around the spine or axis of the body. They are anchored movements and are also called axial movements.
NON-LOCOMOTOR MOVEMENTS
moving the muscles around a joint where two body parts meet.
BENDING OR FLEXING
straightening or extending any part of the body from the joints.
STRETCHING OR EXTENDING
elevating a part of the body, usually for the arms and legs.
RAISING OR LIFTING
moving a part of the body around axis.
ROTATING OR ENCIRCLING
pendular movement below an axis.
SWINGING
pendular movement above an axis.
SWAYING
Movements that involve using a body part to
move an object or item.
MANIPULATIVE MOVEMENTS
What are the example of manipulative movement using hand?
writing, brushing teeth, and getting dressed.
What are the example of the manipulative movement using feet?
kick in soccer or punt in soccer, football, or rugby
