SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
Why is it important to maintain safety in the workplace?
The primary goal of any workplace safety program is to reduce the risks of injury, illness or death to workers. Additionally, a safe work environment can lead to a better mental health, less anxiety and stress for employees

- It refers to not discussing internal goings-on with co- workers.
- It refers to not sharing trade secrets and other company information with competitors, the press or anyone outside of your company

Why is it important to maintain confidentiality?
- It promotes confidence (in the healthcare system, in the school system, in the workplace etcetera).
- It prevents misuse of confidential information (illegal or immoral use).

What Causes Conflict at Work?
- Unclear responsibilities.
- Competition for resources.
- Different interests.
Some team members may feel they do more work than others or resent those who seem to have fewer responsibilities. Blame and frustration can build due to duplicated work or unfinished tasks.
