Cortical Lesion
A
- Loss of tactile sensibility on 1 side of body or face, trunk, upper extremity & cortical sensory loss.
- Failure to identify obj through touch or identify letter or word written on skin surface

Subcortical Lesion
A
- Diminution or loss of pain & temp equally for face, arms & legs.

Basal Ganglia Lesion
A
Emergence of involuntary movements

Central Gray Spinal Lesion
A
Bilateral loss of pain & temp sensation with preserved sense of touch in same limbs (usually 2 upper limbs)

Visual Pathway Lesion
A
- Blindness in one eye suggests an optic nerve lesion
- One eye doesn’t see laterally
- Failure to comprehend written word (visual agnosia, alexia)

Complete Spinal Cord Lesion
A
Paralysis & Sensory loss bilaterally below lesion level
