Lennie Flashcards
George says “Hide in the bush”
Devoted to George because it’s his closest friend
Obeys George’s order
Lennie trusts him so he listens to him
George reminds him that he ain’t gonna get in trouble because if he does he won’t let him ‘tend the rabbits’
“drank with long gulps, snorting into the water like a horse”
First impression-reflects his strength
“Snorting into the water like a horse”-inability to look after himself
Compared to animal-maybe because he admires then however this dehumanises him which can suggest his lack of intelligence
“I done a bad thing. I done another bad thing”
“Another”-previous events where he did bad things e.g. weed
Short sentences imply he’s scared of consequences of not being able to tend rabbits
