“The flopping little man whom he held”
“Looking in wonder at his crushed hand”
“He shook her; her body flopped like a fish”
“And then she was still, for Lennie had broken her neck”
He sees the best in people, and they confide in him”
“Nothing - I seen your light”
“Lennies disarming smile defeated him”
“Because she had confided in him, she moved closer to him”
Lennie has a close link to rabbits and death
“The rabbits sat as quietly as little grey, sculptures stones”
“I remember about the rabbits George”
