The COSHH file should include;

- State the maximum amount of time it is safe to be around
- Describe how to deal with an emergency involving the substance
- State where the hazardous substance is kept
What is Reporting of injuries, diseases and dangerous occurrences regulations 2013 (RIDDOR) include?
- Reporting all work-related accidents that cause death
- Report any staff absences that lasts over a week
- Incidents that have the potential to cause harm e.g. gas leak, chemical spills, fires, explosions
What should be on the RIDDOR report?
- The date, time and place the incident happened
- A summary of what happened
- Details of the injuries which were caused
