What is the meaning of duty and care
It means a persons responsibility not to harm others through carelessness. Both employees and employers have a duty of care
What does hazards mean?
Things around the workplace that can cause harm or cause an accident
What does control measures?
Control measures are ways and measures put in place to ensure the risk of injuries is reduced
What is Legislation?
Legislation is considered as a law that if its broken the law is also broken
What is regulation?
Regulation provides more specific detail in relation an act setting out general principles and procedures which can be particularly incorporated to a workplace.
What’s the code of practice
Its a particularly achieve specific element outlined by an act. Makes the element easier to understand and implements
