African americans- poor preventative care
Hispanic- fear for addiction to medication, sometimes poor compliance
Chinese/asian- often takes herbal medicines, hot food for cold illness and cold foods for hot illness, POOR eye contact is a sign of respect, elder respect
caucasian- poor pain tolerance, eye contact is respectful
