respect for the inherent worth and uniqueness of individuals and populations. ie; nurse values and respects all patients and coworkers
integrity
acting in accordance with an appropriate code of eithcs and accepted standards of practice. ie; nurse is honest, and ethical
social justice
upholding moral, legal, and humanistic principles. ie; nurse works to assure equal/fair treatment under law and access to health care
values clarification
people discover their own values and value system.
