Pollution levels tend to be high

Best housing starts near the CBD
Often along a smart street called a spine, which often follows a road or a railway.
Very expensive flats
Characteristics of the middle class residential?
Medium quality housing is the “ in between” housing
Much poorer than MEDC’s
Often self constructed
Local authorities have added basic amenities such as running water and electricity

Shanty towns have developed on the unpleasant sites, like steep hills or swarms areas
