What are the components of the uveal tract?
Iris - varies size of pupil, when we look at something close up lens convex, pupils becomes smaller and the eyes converge.

Choroid - nutriition of retina and sclera
It is the most vascular tissue in the body
WHat is the difference between light and cones?
6 million cones - they are not senesitive to light, high acuity (colour vision), throughout whole retina
120 million rods - low threshold to light, sensitive to movement, no colour, low resolution (at centre of retina), if we see something in our peripheral vision that is our rods working
