Acute Low back Management
- Ice infected area
- Pump the Disc
- Adjust the segment BELOW the swollen disc in side posture.
Suspecting Spondylolisthesis of L5
- Hyperlordotic Posture
- Motion is restricted at L5
- SP is more palpable with lots of edema under it
Correction of Spondylolisthesis
Side posture adjustment is delivered to the segment below through the plane line of the disc.
If > Grade 2, adjustment is done prone on hy-lo w/ thoracic piece locked.
INTERSEGMENTAL FIXATION
CORRECTION: To make the disc level again
Thrust: P-A-I-S up the facet joint angle, then arced across the disc plane line.
