How does a BOTNET work in terms of malware?

Answer 1

Allows attackers to remotely access many victims’ computers. Damage like trojan horse, DoS, sending SPAM, collecting sensitive data and blackmailing.

Tries to run malware on ALOT of computers (Botnet: Many computers with malware). Tells the Botnet to run something maybe at a specific time. The bigger the botnet the better the impact. The attacker never connects to the victim, just tells the bystander computer to go to the victim
