Q

Absolute Threshold

A

dark Room looking at a dark screen, lights are flashed, your threshold is up to the level where you see the tiniest amount of light

Q

Bottom-Up processing (low level and intermediate level)

A

Distinguishing…
- lines
- contrast
- disparity (depth where things are)
- movement
- colour
-etc.

intermediate level would be to question what it can resemble, what it is similar to, basically to make something out of those shapes/patterns

Q

Top-down processing

A
  • seeing images we don’t expect, but with the help of priming, we are able to tell what the image is after being told
