A
A statistical analysis generating weighted averages of multiple studies to give a better estimate of the true association.

How are studies weighted for meta-analysis?

based on sample size, uncertainty, subgrouping, etc.

What is heterogeneity in a meta-analysis?
A
Assesses the variability of the point estimates across the studies - a %, where 0% is no heterogeneity (all studies have same effect)
