A
- The area in which the problem lies, understanding all characteristics of that domain and figuring out the process and way in which the solution is produced
- BRAY - ‘Through the study of the problem domain the achievement of understanding of, and the documentation of the characteristics of that domain, and the problems that exist within the domain’
- Learning about the problem and the problem domain from the client
- Analysis concerns the problem domain not the solutions
- The analysis must proceed with the specification
3

- The look and feel of the interface should not be left to chance but should be created in accordance with the client to conform with
- Established design principles
- Expert cognitive and heuristic evaluation
- Client interface constraints
- The solution system requirements specifications
