Q

What is problem analysis?

A
  1. The area in which the problem lies, understanding all characteristics of that domain and figuring out the process and way in which the solution is produced
  2. BRAY - ‘Through the study of the problem domain the achievement of understanding of, and the documentation of the characteristics of that domain, and the problems that exist within the domain’
  3. Learning about the problem and the problem domain from the client
  4. Analysis concerns the problem domain not the solutions
  5. The analysis must proceed with the specification

Q

Elements of the Human-Computer Interface Design

A
  1. The look and feel of the interface should not be left to chance but should be created in accordance with the client to conform with
  2. Established design principles
  3. Expert cognitive and heuristic evaluation
  4. Client interface constraints
  5. The solution system requirements specifications
