What characterizes the capitalist mode of production?
Some people control means of production, capital, other people have no access to the means of production and have to sell their labor.
What characterizes Feudalism?
Domestic economy, peasant production for basic needs and surplus for political elite, social relations of labor, elite control of resources through political domination

Cheap commodities traded to overseas producers, which produce items of high value, creating a relation of dependency

Home producers specializing in production of commodities, merchants providing advance tools and raw materials to peasants, relation of dependence for home production
