Types of Inspections

Inspection Process
Planning the inspection

Planning
Determine: Where the inspection will occur What hazards will be inspected Who will be conducting the inspection When inspections would be conducted How they should be conducted
Hazard Classes (A-D)
A. Immediately dangerous to life and health
B. High (e.g. correct within a day)
C. Medium (e.g. correct within two weeks)
D. Low (e.g. correct within a semester)
Interviews
Experienced personnel should conduct interviews
Team assigned to task should have legal backgrounds
