What is markdown?
Markdown is a lightweight markup language that is easily readable and writable, which was created by John Gruber in 2004.
Why use markdown?
It has simple syntax, it is portable across platforms and it easily readable and writable.

What is a computer?
A device, it can be programmed, and is capable of solving certain problems.
First computer
The Abacus for computing, founded in Mesomatopia in 2500 BCE.
The Analytical Machine
Charles Babbage made a general computer, he was known as the “Father of Computing” and Ada Lovelace was known as the “First programmer”. She wrote hypothetical programs.
Tabulating machines
A machine that was built out of all hardware; wires, rollers and motters.
Purpose of rewiring
To change the operations that the machine performed
