A

• A characteristic that impacts the quality/safety of the drug product, such as:
− A chemical, a physical, or a microbiological attribute
• Critical Quality Attributes Help Ensure Patient Safety
– The efficacy and safety of the therapeutic product is maintained over its shelf-life
