Q

What do Polygraphs detect? and How?

what are some errors with polygraphs? (in terms of people and crimes)

A

They detect emotions by monitoring autonomic arousal

Pathological liars might not show results but high anxiety filled people might show results because of their flight or fight response even if they are not guilty of a crime.
