Coefficient of relatedness (r)
A
Measures the fraction of alleles in two individuals that are identical by decent (Inherited from the same ancestor)
-Can also be though of as the portion of genes that are shared between relatives

A
- First eusocial vertebrate ever discovered
- Single queen and from one-three reproductive males are the only breeders in a colony
- Cooperative behavior that can be explained by kin selection
