A vertical split directly in the midline

A front plane split, separating into the anterior and posterior side of the body

A horizontal split, separating the body into superior and inferior
Transverse
Bringing fleshy surfaces closer together
Flexion
Bringing fleshy surfaces further apart
Extension
Lifting your toes towards yours nose
Dorsiflexion
Dropping your toes towards the ground
Plantarflexion
To move away from the body
Abduction
To bring closer to the body
Adduction
