- Categorical (dsm)
- Dimensional (HiTOP)
- Personal recovery

What are the two sub-types in the perspectives of diagnoses?
A
- Taxonomix (that of naming and categorizing disorders- done so in a generalized way. Aka common problems, helicopter view)
- Individualized (focused on the individual person, their symptoms, etc.)

What is important/the focus of personal recovery diagnoses perspective?
A
A focus on the person, client-centered (what happened, what do you need, what are your strengths and vulnerabilities, etc.)

What are five common beginner mistakes in clinical interviewing? What is the common pattern?
A
- Too much steering
- Too much disorder focused instead of client/recovery
- Rigid approach (lack of adaptability)
- Ignoring motivation/resistance/prerequisites
- Being lost in your head/thinking too much
The common pattern is that there is too much you in the conversation- aka a lack of client-orientation
