What are the different types of drafting equipment?
Drafting equipment consists of Straight edges Triangles Pencils Scales
What does Scale refer to?
“Scale” may refer to the measuring instrument or the size to which a drawing is to be made
Scales are used only for measuring and are NOT to be used for drawing lines

Standard sizes in the imperial system are all based on the standard letterhead at 8.5” x 11”
The standard roll of paper is 36” x 42” wide

Why is the space above the title block off limits in gerneral, and what kind of things are found in this place
The whole space above the title block should be reserved for tabulating Materials Change of order Revisions Drawing in this area should be avoided
Should all drawings carry a change or revision table
yes and appear at the bottom of page or upper right
What size would the lettering be for titles and drawing numbers
1.5 times the selected text height

It shows the shape of the object. but not useful in manufacturing the part

Show the axes of symmetry
