Role of PROJECT MANAGER
The traditional PM’s role:
Responsibility: planning, to the business/client
Control: schedule, budget, estimates, resources
Authority: for everything
Who selects the tasks in scrum?
The team selects what each person will do
What are the different scrum team roles?
Product Owner : the project’s key stakeholder.
Scrum Master: They provide leadership, guidance and coaching and also makes sure that the team is performing at a high level. They’re part of the team and make sure product owner is doing their job.
Team:
Estimate tasks
Select tasks that need to be developed.
What does a product owner do?
They maintain, update, administrate and ranks the product backlog (user stories)
They collaborate with the team to define the objectives of each sprint.
Answers questions of the requirements from the team.
Ranks/ prioritises the user stories
What are the team responsibilities?
Team assesses requirements, technology, and skills for project.
Iteratively adapts approach based on daily challenges.
Determines tasks and selects optimal solutions.
Why plan in agile?
Plan in agile because:
Ensure working on the most important thing that is required.
Coordination with others is required.
When unexpected events occur we need to understand the consequences for the first two

What are technical decisions in planning?
Estimates

Feasibility study : decide if a project is worth doing
Plan how are you going to do it , then do it.
