Step 1: Consider your opportunities for success

Step 2: if they are good, continue your efforts and goal commitment, go to step 4

Step 3: if they are poor, disengage and engage in other goals

Step 4: Goal pursuit

Step 5: If you are having difficulty with goal attainment, go back to step 1
