A

There are 3 types of symptoms: Negative symptoms include loss of interest or enthusiasm, lack of emotion, social withdrawal, and lack of attention to ADL’s.
Positive Symptoms include the presence of hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking or speech,
Cognitive symptoms are memory loss, vivid and bizarre thoughts and ideas, confused thinking, trouble discerning dreams from reality.

Symptoms are similar to schizophrenia but shorter in duration-less than 6 months but at least 1 month. They include 2 or more of : delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, disorganized or catatonic behavior, or negative symptoms.
