The effects of the environment in the shaping of behaviour and believe that scientific psychologists should only study observable behaviour

Tabula rasa (blank state) and learning or experience makes us the people we become
What does learning theories focus on?
How nurture shapes individuals in terms of behaviour through family, peers, social and cultural situations. This is viewed as more important than influence of genetics
