Explain the parts of a vine

A

Green parts - parts that grow each year, principal structure is the shoot along which are leaves (plant’s engine), Buds (under every leaf), Tendrils, and Flowers and Berries
One year old wood - when shoots turn woody in winter
Permanant wood - > 1 year old - restricted by pruning. Trunk and arms.
Roots - absorb water and nutrients, anchor the vine and store carbohydrates for winter
